Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy for DARKSWAN Events + businesses

INTRODUCTION

 
At DARKSWAN, we understand that plans can change. This cancellation and rescheduling policy is designed to be fair to both parties and allows for the flexibility needed while ensuring that we can maintain high standards of service for all our clients. This policy applies to all our programmes including Be More Rescue, Be More Circus, Challenge-Boxes, Rescue Racing, Optimising Human Performance courses, and Challenge 24-48.
 

 

CANCELLATION POLICY

To cancel your scheduled programme, please notify us in writing as soon as possible. Depending on the timing of your cancellation, the following fees will apply:
 

• More than 45 days before the event: A cancellation will incur an administration fee of 5% of the total cost.
• 45 to 30 days before the event: A cancellation fee of 20% of the total cost will be charged.
• 30 to 15 days before the event: A cancellation fee of 50% of the total cost will be charged.
• 15 to 0 days before the event: A cancellation fee of 100% of the total cost will be charged.

 
These fees compensate for the preparation and resources allocated to your event and reflect the costs that cannot be recovered.
 

 

RESCHEDULING POLICY

If you need to reschedule your programme, we are happy to assist you at no extra charge if the request is made more than 45 days before the event. If the rescheduling request is made within the specified timeframes below, the following fees will apply to cover administrative costs:
 

• 45 to 30 days before the event: A rescheduling fee of 5% of the total cost will be charged.
• 30 to 15 days before the event: A rescheduling fee of 10% of the total cost will be charged.
• 15 to 0 days before the event: A rescheduling fee of 15% of the total cost will be charged.

GENERAL TERMS

1. Notice: All cancellation and rescheduling requests must be submitted in writing to ensure that they are properly documented and processed.
2. Refunds: Refund processing can take up to 30 days from the date of cancellation confirmation.
3. Force Majeure: In the event of circumstances beyond our control (e.g., natural disasters, pandemics, etc.), we will work with you to reschedule with minimal impact and no additional rescheduling fees.
4. Compliance: This policy complies with applicable UK laws and is designed to ensure fairness and clarity for all parties involved.
